Steve Walter, author and poet (first diagnosed with bipolar 23 years ago), is back, steering us through a good-humoured story of breakdown and recovery. If you’ve ever experienced mental ill-health, or know someone that has, and you care about the planet, this show is for you!
Earth on the threshold of breakdown – psychosis – our delusion is that business-as-usual will be OK…of course, nothing could be further from the truth! But we are as much a part of the solution, as we are the problem…
This year we bring together, the future of planet Earth and mental health. The performance is accompanied by singer/songwriter friend, Steve Antoni, combining spoken word, music and song.
First described by the Edinburgh Evening News for An Acute Psychotic Episode II with 4 stars:
“…the audience is drawn into a powerful, emotional journey executed with passion and surety of purpose. Walter soars beyond the pitfalls of the self-obsessed misery memoir describing instead a small but important history of a human triumph. The blend of poetry, self-confessional prose and performance is hugely enhanced by the music and song of Steve Antoni, whose contribution effortlessly switches the pace and tone of the performance without ever losing the theme.”
If we bring about positive change for the environment, and care about our environmental impact…there may be hope for healing…
There are two one hour performances, join us for one (or both!):
